Tender Description

The Infrastructure Development Authority of the Punjab (IDAP) invites bids for the supply, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of infusion pumps and syringe pumps (Package No. 13) for the establishment of the Federal Government Polyclinic (PGMI)-II located at G-11/3, Islamabad. This procurement is specifically managed by IDAP, based in Lahore, and targets qualified manufacturers or their authorized agents capable of delivering high-quality hospital equipment. The technical scope includes volumetric infusion pumps and syringe pumps with detailed specifications such as automatic infusion rate control, air bubble detection, rechargeable batteries, and compliance with international certifications like FDA 510K or CE marking. The equipment must be delivered on DAP basis, including all necessary accessories, consumables, and installation services. The supplier is responsible for customs clearance, transportation, and local inspection. The contract includes a one-year warranty and a five-year extended maintenance period with comprehensive service and spare parts availability. Eligible bidders must be registered with relevant tax authorities, provide valid bid security, and demonstrate experience through supply orders, installation reports, and satisfactory performance certificates. Joint ventures are allowed with clear designation of lead members. The bid submission deadline is 11th June 2026 at 15:00 HRS PST via EPADS, with technical bids opened the same day at 15:30 HRS PST in Lahore. Bidders should ensure all documents, including technical and financial proposals, are complete and submitted electronically. A practical tip for bidders is to carefully prepare the technical bid with all required documents and manufacturer authorizations to avoid disqualification. Also, ensure timely submission of original bid security to the IDAP office in Lahore before the deadline. Familiarity with EPADS and adherence to the single stage two envelope procedure will facilitate smooth participation in this tender. The contract will be awarded to the lowest evaluated bidder who meets all technical and financial criteria.
