Tender Description
The Pakistan Sports Board Islamabad is procuring the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of LED flood lights and poles for practice matches at Naseer Bunda Hockey Stadium Islamabad. This tender covers the complete turnkey scope including supply of 1000W LED flood lights with minimum 5-year warranty, installation on 20 meter high octagonal galvanized steel poles, wiring, aiming, testing and commissioning with certified lux level measurements. The technical scope requires compliance with international standards and includes detailed lighting design using AGI 32 or Dialux software, uniform lux distribution, and use of certified aiming tools. The poles must withstand 150 km/h wind pressure and include RCC foundations and all related civil works. Bidders must be PEC registered in relevant electrical categories and demonstrate experience with similar international-level stadium lighting projects. The tender requires submission of technical and financial bids electronically through EPADS with earnest money of PKR 1,000,000. The bid validity period is 90 days and the contract completion period is 60 days from commencement. Bidders should ensure timely submission of complete bids including all schedules and samples. A practical tip for bidders is to carefully prepare and submit the lighting design and aiming plan as per specifications to avoid disqualification. The submission deadline and contact details are available from the Pakistan Sports Board Islamabad. This is a significant opportunity for qualified electrical contractors to work on a high-profile sports infrastructure project with clear technical and contractual requirements. The department emphasizes compliance with all bid conditions and encourages bidders to attend any pre-bid meetings and seek clarifications in advance. The contract includes a 5-year warranty on the complete luminaire and driver assembly. The successful bidder will be responsible for all site facilities, safety, and coordination with stadium authorities during execution.
