Tender Description
The Consulate General of Pakistan in Jeddah is procuring high-quality IT equipment and office furniture to establish 10 One Window Counters at its MRP Wing. This procurement aims to enhance operational efficiency and improve the working environment at the Consulate. The scope includes supply, delivery, assembly, and installation of brand-new computer systems, LED displays, document scanners, network racks, telco media connectivity, and various office furniture items such as tables, aluminium chairs, swivel chairs, and visitor chairs. The successful supplier must ensure timely delivery within 15 days of the purchase order and provide warranty and after-sales support.
Eligible firms must hold valid Commercial Registration and VAT certificates. Bidders should carefully review the specifications and samples provided by the Consulate to ensure compliance. The bidding process follows a Single Stage Single Envelope Procedure, and submissions with overwriting or corrections will be rejected. Earnest Money in the form of CDR may be required as per standard practice. The deadline for submission is strictly enforced, and bids must be delivered to the Consulate General of Pakistan in Jeddah.
It is essential for bidders to nominate a focal person with complete contact details to coordinate with the Consulate. Firms are advised to submit clear and complete technical and financial bids, ensuring all required documents are included to avoid disqualification. A practical tip for bidders is to verify all item specifications against the provided samples before quoting prices to avoid rejection due to sub-standard goods. This tender offers a valuable opportunity for suppliers experienced in IT and office furniture procurement to engage with a reputable government entity and expand their business footprint in the region.
