This procurement includes supplying, installation, testing, commissioning, and training for the network infrastructure at SMIU's main city campus located on Aiwan-e-Tijarat Road, Karachi. The tender invites experienced contractors/firms with at least 5 years of relevant experience to participate through the E-Pak Acquisition & Disposal System (EPADS). Items being procured: - Next Generation Firewall (Cisco, Fortinet or Equivalent) with detailed specifications including 1U rack mount, multi-core processor, 32GB DDR4 memory, multiple GE RJ45 and SFP ports, redundant power supplies, throughput capacities, and advanced security licenses for 3 years including IPS/IDS, AntiVirus, Web Filtering, SSL Deep Packet Inspection, Zero Trust Network Access, and more. - Fiber Distribution Switch (Cisco, Aruba, Juniper or Equivalent) 1U rack mount managed Layer 3 switch with minimum 12 × 10 Gigabit SFP+ ports, 4 × 10 Gigabit SFP+ uplink ports, redundant cooling, and 3 years OEM warranty and support. - Access Switch (Cisco, Aruba, Juniper or Equivalent) 1U rack mount 48-port Gigabit Ethernet PoE+ managed switch with Layer 2 and basic Layer 3 features, full PoE support, security features, QoS, and 3 years OEM warranty and support. The technical scope covers hardware appliances with OEM supervised installation, configuration, testing, and professional-level training for 2 participants with certification. The equipment must comply with industry standards such as Gartner Magic Quadrant listings, ICSA Labs certification, NSS LAB certification, and Cyber Ratings. Passive works required for installation are included. Eligibility criteria require bidders to have valid income tax and GST registration, NTN/SNTN certification, at least 10 years of relevant experience, minimum annual turnover of PKR 200 million over the last 3 years, OEM authorization, and no blacklisting affidavit.
