Supply and Installation of QR Code Plates on LPG Cylinders in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad/Rawalpindi Region

Pakistan State Oil Company Limited (PSO) invites quotations for the supply and installation of QR Code Plates on LPG Cylinders across Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad/Rawalpindi regions. This procurement aims to enhance inventory management and streamline the tracking process of LPG cylinders throughout their lifecycle. Items being procured: - QR Code Plate 2" x 2" for Korangi (Karachi) region, quantity 5,000 units - QR Code Plate 2" x 2" for Lahore region, quantity 5,000 units - QR Code Plate 2" x 2" for Dhurnal (Islamabad/Rawalpindi) region, quantity 3,000 units - Installation of QR Code Plates at Karachi region, quantity 5,000 units - Installation of QR Code Plates at Lahore region, quantity 5,000 units - Installation of QR Code Plates at Islamabad/Rawalpindi region, quantity 3,000 units The QR Code plates must be made of silver or equivalent material with laser printing of the QR code at the center, sized 55mm height by 35mm width. Installation will be done by riveting or an equivalent method adhering to PSO's HSE policy. The vendor is responsible for the entire process including fabrication, affixing, auditing cylinder serial numbers, and quality assurance. A one-time serial number audit must be conducted to verify cylinder codes, with a detailed report submitted to PSO. Random sampling and scanning of 50 cylinders will be performed to ensure integration with PSO's inventory system. Eligibility requires compliance with PSO's quality standards and timely delivery. The vendor must provide a one-year guarantee on QR codes and a ten-year guarantee on materials. Penalties apply for delays at 0.1% per day up to 10% of the contract value. The contract duration is until 30 June 2027. Bidders should submit their quotations including all costs such as travel and accommodation. The submission deadline is 01 October 2026. Interested suppliers are advised to ensure thorough verification of cylinder codes before printing to avoid reprinting costs. Early preparation of samples for PSO approval is recommended to avoid delays.
