Tender Description
The Directorate General of Social Welfare & Special Education Balochistan invites eligible bidders to participate in the procurement of medical equipment and accessories. This tender is specifically for suppliers who can provide high-quality medical equipment and related accessories to support the department's initiatives in Quetta, Balochistan.
Items being procured:
- Medical Equipment and Accessories (Total Item(s) Count: 1)
The procurement will be conducted under the Balochistan Public Procurement Rules 2014. Bidders must have completed 3 assignments of similar nature and complexity with a minimum turnover of PKR 180,000,000 over the last three years. Firms must be active on the tax payer list and hold a valid sales tax certificate. Joint ventures are permissible. The bidding firm must not be blacklisted by any procuring agency in Pakistan. Submission of bid security amounting to 2% of the bid value is mandatory. The bidder must provide a manufacturer's warranty certificate or an undertaking to honor the warranty period as specified in the bidding documents. Brochures of the quoted item must be attached with the technical bid, and the firm must assure price reasonability. Documentary evidence of operational office in Balochistan such as utility bills, tenancy agreements, ownership documents, or trade licenses must be submitted. Audited financial statements for the last three years, certified by a Chartered Accountant or an audit firm registered with the relevant regulatory authority, are required.
The procurement procedure is Single Stage Two Envelope Bidding. Tender documents including the NIT and bidding documents can be obtained electronically from www.bppra.gob.pk. Complete bidding documents can also be viewed on the same website. Bids must be submitted electronically only through the supplier dashboard. The last date for bid submission is **28 August 2026 at 09:00 AM**. Tender opening will be held on the same day at 10:00 AM on the EPPS system.
