Tender Description
Peshawar Institute of Cardiology (PIC-MTI), a medical teaching institution under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Department, invites eligible bidders registered with FBR for Income Tax, Sales Tax, and listed on the Active Tax Payer (ATL) list, as well as registered with EPADS, to submit e-bids via the E-Pak Acquisition & Disposal System (EPADS) for the supply of various medical and office equipment. Items being procured:
- General Disposable (Leftover)
- Automated PCR (Extraction & Amplification System) on Reagent Rental Basis (2nd Time)
- Office Furniture for Clinical Trial Unit (CTU)
- Supply & Installation of Emergency Call Bell System for Patient Washrooms
- Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of Negative Pressure Rooms
- IT Equipment's (2nd Time)
The scope includes supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of medical disposables, PCR systems on reagent rental, office furniture, emergency call bell systems, negative pressure rooms, and IT equipment. The procurement will be conducted under the Single Stage One Envelope and Single Stage Two Envelope tender processes as applicable. Bid security/earnest money must be submitted from a scheduled bank in favor of the Hospital Director, Peshawar Institute of Cardiology. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for September 3, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Manager Material Management office, 1st Floor, OPD Building, PIC-MTI. Bidders must upload scanned copies of bids on EPADS by September 15, 2026, at 10:30 AM, with original bid security submitted physically to the same office by the deadline. Bids submitted by hand, post, courier, email, or fax will not be accepted. Income Tax, stamp duty, professional tax, and KPRA or other government taxes will be charged as per rules. The procurement will follow KP Public Procurement Regulatory Authority rules. The bid accompanied by Pay Order will be rejected. Interested bidders must register on EPADS to obtain user credentials. The tender notice is also available on PIC and KP-PPRA websites. PIC-MTI reserves the right to cancel any or all bids with valid reasons under KP-PPRA rules.
