Supply of Medicine and Related Items for Balochistan Essential Services Support Initiative

The Balochistan Essential Services Support Initiative (BESSI) in Quetta invites bids from eligible suppliers for the supply of medicine and related items. This procurement is critical to support healthcare services in the province and is governed under the Balochistan Public Procurement Rules 2014. Items being procured: - Medicine & related items (Total Item(s) Count: 243) The scope includes supplying a comprehensive range of medicines and related pharmaceutical products as per the detailed list of 243 items. Suppliers must ensure compliance with all regulatory standards including the Drug Act 1976 and provide products free from substandard, spurious, adulterated, or misbranded substances. Shelf life requirements are 75% for local products and 70% for imported products from the date of supply. Authorization from the manufacturer or sole agent and registration with the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan or a provisional import license is mandatory. Eligibility criteria require bidders to have completed 3 assignments of similar nature and complexity with a turnover of at least PKR 50,000,000 in the last 3 years. Firms must be on the Active Taxpayer List and not blacklisted by any procuring agency in Pakistan. Joint ventures are not allowed. Bid security of PKR 500,000 in the form of a bank guarantee or deposit at call is required. Tender documents can be obtained and viewed electronically from www.bppra.gob.pk.
