Supply of Medicines on Free Delivery Basis at Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Limited

Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Limited (KS&EW) invites sealed tenders for the supply of medicines on a free delivery basis at KS&EW Clinic, Karachi. The procurement is conducted under Single Stage (Two Envelope) Bidding method. Items being procured: - Medicines (As and when required basis) The delivery period is as and when required after issuance of the award letter. Bidders must mention their NTN, GST & SST numbers in the offer. The contract will be awarded to drug licensed medicines dealers or distributors offering the highest discount on MRP as per PPRA Rule 36. Bids must reach the Senior Medical Officer's office by 10:00 AM on 07-09-2026, with opening at 11:00 AM the same day. Eligibility criteria include valid drug licenses, experience supplying medicines to hospitals, references for similar works, storage facility details, and financial position of the dealers/distributors. An affidavit regarding non-involvement in arbitration or litigation with any government agency is mandatory. Stamp duty as per government rules will be borne by the supplier. Earnest money of Rs. 100,000 is required with the offer, and a security deposit/guarantee of Rs. 500,000 must be arranged within 3 days after commercial offer opening. Tender forms must be filled in conformity with instructions and signed by authorized persons. Offers must remain valid for at least 60 days. Bidders are advised to carefully prepare their technical and financial bids in separate envelopes as per the Single Stage Two Envelope procedure.
