Tender Description
The Balochistan Institute of Nephro-Urology Quetta (BINUQ) under the Balochistan Health Card Program (BHCP) invites sealed quotations from well-reputed and registered firms, medical stores, and suppliers for the supply of medicines and medical consumables. The procurement is specifically for establishing and operating a 24/7 pharmacy outlet titled BHCP Pharmacy located at Samungali Road, Quetta. This tender is issued by the Balochistan Institute of Nephro-Urology, a key healthcare institution in Quetta, Balochistan.
The technical scope requires suppliers to provide medicines and consumables registered with the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP). All items must have a remaining shelf life of at least 75-80% at delivery. The pharmacy will operate continuously, so suppliers must be capable of timely and consistent supply. The tender document and detailed list of required medicines can be obtained from the institute’s office during official hours upon payment of PKR 5,000 in cash.
Eligibility criteria are strict: bidders must have experience of at least three similar assignments in the last three years, each with a minimum value of PKR 20 million, supplying medicines or consumables to public sector health facilities or health insurance programs. Firms must be active taxpayers registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and hold a valid license from the Health Department or relevant regulatory authorities. Financial capacity is demonstrated by a net worth of at least PKR 30 million over the past three years, supported by turnover certificates from banks. A notarized affidavit confirming no blacklisting or penalties is also required.
The submission deadline is fixed at 11:30 AM on 7th May 2026 at the office of the undersigned. Quotations will be opened the same day at 12:30 PM in the presence of the Hospital Procurement Committee and BHCP representatives at the Conference Hall of BINUQ. Payments will be made within 120 days of supply completion via bank transfer.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all documentary evidence, including supply orders, contracts, and performance certificates, are complete and attached with the technical bid. This will avoid disqualification during the eligibility evaluation phase and improve chances of success in this competitive procurement.
