Tender Description
The Pir Abdul Qadir Shah Jeelani Institute of Medical Sciences Gambat invites e-bids through the E-Pak Acquisition and Disposable System (EPADS) for the procurement of consumables, surgical items, laboratory kits, and X-ray films for THQ Hospital Mehar under a framework contract for the fiscal year 2026-27. This procurement is conducted under the Sindh Public Procurement Rules 2010 (Amended 2019) and aims to supply essential medical consumables to support hospital operations in Mehar, Sindh.
Items being procured include:
- Surgical blades (various sizes and types)
- Sterile C/Section sheets
- Gaze swabs/sponges
- CVP insertion packs
- Polypropylene sutures (various sizes)
- Chromic catgut sutures
- Vicryl sutures
- Liga clips (small, medium, large)
- Braided silk sutures
- Sterile gowns (large, medium)
- Surgical gloves (various sizes)
- Disposable diathermy leads (bipolar, monopolar)

- Various other consumables and laboratory items as detailed in the annexure.
The technical scope requires compliance with quality standards including registration with the Drugs Regulatory Authority Pakistan (DRAP) where applicable. Bidders must be manufacturers, importers, or authorized distributors with valid FBR/SRB active taxpayer status. Bid security of 1% of the total bid value is mandatory, along with a non-refundable tender fee of Rs. 3,000. The bidding procedure follows a Single Stage β Two Envelope process. Delivery and inspection will be at the main pharmacy stores/warehouse of PAQSJIMS Gambat.
The deadline for online bid submission is **06-10-2026 up to 1:30 pm**, with bid opening at 2:00 pm the same day in the Green Hall at PAQSJIMS Gambat. Bidders are advised to submit samples of quoted items prior to submission. Earnest money and performance security requirements are clearly stated. The contract is initially for one year with possible extension.
