Tender Description
The Pakistan Navy Local Purchase Division in Karachi is procuring a wide range of naval stores and equipment essential for operational and maintenance purposes. This procurement includes items such as soft cloth, Gurjan Grade-I (Red pine) sleepers, kail wood sleepers, nylon brushes, ropes, cooking utensils made of aluminum, rubber hoses, sewing threads, camouflage nets, tents, and other related materials.
The technical scope covers detailed specifications for each item, including dimensions, material grades, moisture content for timber, breaking strength for ropes, and food-grade standards for cooking utensils. The items are sourced both locally and imported, with delivery timelines of 15 days for local items and 45 days for imported goods. The procurement is managed by the Pakistan Navy Local Purchase Division, ensuring compliance with military standards and quality certifications.
Eligible bidders should be registered firms with valid FBR and ATL registration. Non-registered firms must provide a bank guarantee of 5% of the purchase order value to participate. Firms are encouraged to register with HQ COMLOG to avoid the bank guarantee requirement. The tender fee is Rs 500 per quotation, payable via bank draft, pay order, cross cheque, or online transfer. Earnest Money and CDR requirements apply as per standard procedures.
The tender opening date is set for 8th July 2026, and all bids must be submitted before this deadline. Interested suppliers should ensure their technical and financial bids are complete and comply with the specifications. Contact details for queries include phone numbers 021-48508524, 48508828, and email addresses clp@paknavy.gov.pk and localpurchasedivision@gmail.com.
A practical tip for bidders is to carefully review the detailed technical specifications and ensure all required certifications and test reports are included with the bid. This will help avoid disqualification during the technical evaluation phase and improve chances of contract award.
