Tender Description
The House Building Finance Company (HBFC) Karachi invites bids for the Tender for Supply of Plants with Maintenance Service under Financial Year 2026-27. This procurement is for the supply and maintenance of indoor and outdoor plants at HBFC Head Office, Karachi, with potential extension to nationwide branches. Items being procured:
- Indoor Plants: 100 plants (minimum 5.5 ft height)
- Outdoor Plants: 100 plants (minimum 5.5 ft height)
The scope includes supplying healthy, lush, well-shaped plants and pots free from pests and diseases, with twice weekly maintenance including watering, cropping, soil softening, weed removal, and gravel maintenance. Immediate replacement of any damaged plants or pots is required. The contractor's supervisor must regularly visit HBFC plantation sites for supervision and maintenance. The contract duration is initially two years, extendable by one year on the same terms. Unit rates quoted will apply to all HBFC offices and branches across Pakistan.
Bidders must be registered on EPADS v2.0 and submit bids electronically by the deadline. Bid security of PKR 20,000 is required. Eligibility includes valid FBR registration (NTN). The procurement method is Single Stage One Envelope with Least Cost Based Selection. Bids will be opened on September 25, 2026, at 11:30 AM via EPADS. Manual bids are not accepted.
Technical competence, financial resources, and experience are essential. Bidders should ensure compliance with all bidding document requirements and submit all necessary documents including sample pictures of plants and pots. The contract will be governed by the laws of Pakistan. Payment will be made in Pakistani Rupees against actual invoices. A practical tip for bidders: ensure timely registration on EPADS v2.0 and submit all required documents to avoid disqualification. The bid validity period is 120 days.
