Tender Description
The Food Department Gilgit-Baltistan Secretariat invites sealed tenders from reputed registered Government Firms, Dealers, Suppliers, and Contractors for the supply of Stationery items and repair/maintenance of Government vehicles for the office of the Secretary Food Department Gilgit-Baltistan for the Financial Year 2026-2027. Items being procured:
- Repair/Maintenance of Government Vehicles/Motorcycles
- Stationery Items
The tender requires bidders to have a complete setup including own shop and workshop for transport repair and a shop for stationery items with all documentary evidence. The contractor/supplier must maintain adequate supply and stock of spare parts in Gilgit Town. The tender will be opened under GB PPRA Rules 2022 using a Single Stage One Envelope procedure. Tender envelopes must mention the name in bold letters and contain separately the financial proposal and technical proposal. A refundable call deposit in the form of a bank draft from a scheduled bank in the name of Secretary Food Gilgit-Baltistan is mandatory; tenders without call deposit will not be entertained.
The committee reserves the right to visit the bidder's shop and workshop and reject bids if the setup is non-existent. Only registered firms/dealers/suppliers/contractors will be entertained. Rates for items not listed in the prescribed form will be determined according to prevailing retail/market rates at the time of supply. Conditional, ambiguous, or incomplete tenders will be rejected. Bidders must attach bank statements/transactions for the last year showing Rs. 7,000,000 for vehicle repair and Rs. 5,000,000 for stationery items, five years of relevant work experience, firm registration certificate/Form-C, non-blacklisted affidavit, CNIC of owner, treasury challan TR-6 issued by DDO of Secretary Food GB, duly stamped from Treasury Office/NBP, letter pad of firm with address, vendor number, and telephone number.
All applicable taxes will be included in the bid price and borne by the bidders. The competent authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders as per GB PPRA rules 2022. Bidders can obtain the prescribed form and bidding documents from the office of the undersigned starting 11th August 2026 during office hours.
Bidders are advised to ensure all required documents and deposits are complete and submitted before the closing date to avoid disqualification. Timely submission and compliance with technical and financial requirements are critical for successful participation.
