Tender Description
The Livestock and Dairy Development Department Punjab is procuring various types of seeds for the fiscal year 2026-27. This procurement is aimed at supporting agricultural and livestock feed requirements within Punjab. The tender includes supply of multiple seed varieties such as Rhodes grass, Sudan grass, Berseem, Lucerne, and other fodder seeds essential for livestock nutrition.
The technical scope covers supply of seeds in specified quantities and qualities as per the department’s standards. The procurement is intended to be completed within the financial year ending June 30, 2027. Interested suppliers must ensure compliance with quality standards and timely delivery to the designated locations within Punjab.
Eligibility criteria include valid registration with FBR and ATL, relevant experience in supplying agricultural seeds, and adherence to any PEC category if applicable. Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) or CDR must be submitted as per tender requirements. The technical and financial bids will be evaluated separately to ensure transparency and fairness.
The tender documents can be obtained and submitted by the deadline of July 4, 2026, at 10:00 AM. The submission address is the office of the Chief Officer, Livestock and Dairy Development Punjab. Bidders are advised to carefully prepare their bids, ensuring all required documents and CDRs are included to avoid disqualification.
A practical tip for bidders is to verify the seed quality certificates and ensure all samples meet the department’s specifications before submission. This will enhance the chances of successful qualification in the technical evaluation phase. Timely submission and adherence to the tender conditions are crucial for participation in this procurement.
