Bidders must be manufacturers, importers, or authorized distributors with valid registrations and must submit samples three days prior to technical bid opening. Earnest money of 2% of bid price is required in the form of call deposit, pay order, or bank guarantee. The tender evaluation will be based on technical and financial criteria with a minimum technical score of 70% for eligibility.
Key dates include tender purchase and submission from 18-08-2026 to 09-09-2026 at 10:30 A.M. Bids will be opened online on 09-09-2026 at 11:00 A.M. The submission address is the Procurement Department, NICVD, Rafiqui H.J Shaheed Road, Karachi. Bidders are advised to carefully follow the bidding instructions, ensure all mandatory documents are included, and register on the EPADS portal to avoid disqualification.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure that the price quoted for NICVD is not higher than prices charged to other hospitals or the local market, supported by an undertaking on Rs. 500/- stamp paper. Non-compliance or submission of conditional tenders will lead to rejection. Maintaining timely delivery and quality standards is critical to avoid penalties or blacklisting by NICVD.
