Tender Description
The Communication and Works Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, through its C&W Division Swabi-I, invites eligible firms and contractors to participate in the e-bidding process for the Swabi Area Development Project (Block Provision for Projects to be funded from 10% Net Hydel Profit) for the financial year 2025-26. The works are divided under two sub-heads (PK-49 and PK-50) and cover both solarization and construction/rehabilitation of various public infrastructure in Swabi district.
Items being procured:
- Solarization of Masajids and Madrasas at Tehsil Topi and Gadoon (PEC C-4 & above)
- Construction/Rehabilitation of Flood Effected Khota Topi Causeway (PEC C-4 & above)
- Construction/Rehabilitation/BT/PCC Dagai Shingrai Road at Gadoon (2.3 Km) (PEC C-5 & above)
- Construction/Rehabilitation/BT/PCC Hamlet Kyara Zako Road (1.20 Km) (PEC C-5 & above)
- Construction/Rehabilitation/BT/PCC Malak Abad to Takail Road (1.00 Km) (PEC C-5 & above)
- Solarization of Mosques in PK-50 & RHC Marghuz in PK-50 (PEC C-5 & above)
- Solarization of Mosques in PK-50 (PEC C-5 & above)
- Construction/Rehabilitation of Markazi Jarnia Masjid Usman Khel Baja (PEC C-5 & above)
The technical scope includes solarization of religious and educational institutions, as well as construction and rehabilitation of key roads and flood-affected infrastructure. All works require valid and up-to-date PEC registration in the relevant category (C-4 or C-5 as specified), C&W Department registration, and compliance with KPPRA procurement rules. Bid Security is set at 2% of the estimated cost, and a non-refundable tender fee of Rs. 3,000 is applicable. Bidders must also be registered with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority.
Bid solicitation documents can be downloaded from the E-PAD system and KPPRA website, or obtained from the office of the Executive Engineer C&W Division Swabi-I. The last date for submission of e-bids is 14th September 2026 at 12:00 PM. A pre-bid meeting will be held on 10th July 2026 in the office of the Executive Engineer. Bids must be submitted electronically as per KPPRA notification and all required documents, including original call deposit and tender fee, must reach the office before the deadline.
Practical tip: Ensure your PEC registration is current and that all affidavits and bid securities are prepared in the correct format to avoid disqualification at the technical evaluation stage.
