Tender Description
This tender invites bids for sweeping roads, streets, and cleaning open surface drains and sewerage lines across six wards of Town Committee Bhitshah in Sindh. The contract spans six months, from 1st March to 31st August 2026, focusing on maintaining sanitation and cleanliness in the urban environment of Bhitshah. The scope includes regular cleaning and waste management to ensure hygienic conditions for residents.
The work involves deploying skilled labor and equipment to sweep roads and clean drainage systems effectively. Given the urban setting, contractors must manage waste disposal and recycling in compliance with local environmental standards. The project demands coordination with municipal authorities and adherence to safety and environmental regulations, ensuring minimal disruption to daily life.
Bidders should be registered in the Waste Management sector and hold a valid license from the Sindh Environmental Protection Agency. Firms must have at least five years of experience in rural and municipal waste management, with a proven track record of outsourcing contracts. Compliance with Sindh Revenue Board registration and updated NTN and FBR ATL status for 2025 is mandatory. Audit reports from reputable chartered accountants for 2023 must be submitted along with the bid.
The submission deadline is set for 17th February 2026 at 12:00 PM, with bid opening at 12:30 PM on the same day. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes to the Office of the Town Committee Bhitshah. Earnest money of 2% of the bid value is required in the form of a pay order or bank draft. The tender process follows the SPPRA 2010 rules, and the committee reserves the right to accept or reject any bid.
Pro-Tip: Ensure your bid includes all required documentation, especially the updated licenses and audit reports, as missing paperwork is a common reason for disqualification. Also, verify the stamp duty requirements for the agreement on non-judicial e-stamp paper to avoid delays post-award.
