Procurement, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Swimming Pool Water Heating System at NBP Sports Complex, Karachi

The National Bank of Pakistan (Engineering) invites sealed bids for the procurement, installation, testing and commissioning of a Swimming Pool Water Heating System at the NBP Sports Complex located in Karachi. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and aims to enhance the facility with efficient water heating solutions. Items being procured: - 2 Nos. Gas Operated Water Heaters rated at 400000 BTU with 99.99% copper tubing and fins including complete control system with sensors, display unit, thermostat, ON/OFF status indications and LED. - 4 Nos. Electric Water Heaters rated at 36Kw / 125000 BTU made of MS and SS with complete control system including sensors, display unit, thermostat, ON/OFF status indications and LED. - PVC insulated, PVC sheathed non-armored copper conductor power cables of various sizes and lengths: 150 mm2 4 Core (76 m), 25 mm2 4 Core (20 m), 6 mm2 Single Core (20 m), 10 mm2 Single Core (10 m). - Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Circuit Breaker (MCCB) 250A / 50KA adjustable. - Fabrication and installation of Control Distribution Board with MCCBs, earth leakage MCCB, controllers, temperature sensors and other components for automatic control of heaters. - Earthing system installation including copper ground electrodes, boring, filling with charcoal and lime mixture, earthing leads, copper equipotential bars and interconnections. The technical scope includes supply and complete installation of gas and electric water heaters with all necessary control systems, power cabling with approved brands such as Pakistan Cables, Newage, Fast cables or equivalent, and full commissioning at the NBP Sports Complex site. The cables will be laid recessed or openly as per site conditions with all necessary fixing accessories and approvals. Eligibility criteria require bidders to have valid FBR and SRB registrations, valid manufacturer authorization or distributorship certificates for gas or electric heaters, and a fresh non-blacklisting affidavit. Bidders must have completed at least two similar contracts worth not less than Rs. 5 million in the last three years, have an annual turnover of at least Rs. 10 million, and maintain an office presence in Karachi for after-sales service. The bid security amount is PKR 170,000 and bids must be submitted online via EPADS v2.0 by Monday, October 26, 2026 at 11:00 AM. The original bid security must be physically submitted to the Office of the departmental head tender procurement division, 3rd floor NBP Head Office Building, I.I Chundrigar Road, Karachi before the deadline. Bids will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM via EPADS v2.0. Manual submissions will not be entertained. Bidders are advised to carefully review the bidding documents available on EPADS and ensure compliance with all technical and financial requirements. Registration on EPADS v2.0 is mandatory for participation. A pre-bid meeting will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Office of the Wing Head, Head Office Engineering Division, 3rd floor NBP Head Office Building, Karachi.
