Contractors must be enlisted with MES in category 'E' or above and registered with PEC. Those not on the approved MES list must provide proof of registration with the concerned department, financial standing certificates, staff and equipment details, and experience records attested by a Class-I Gazetted Officer. Non-listed contractors must also deposit 2% earnest money as FDR or Deposit at Call pledged to GE (A) Tarbela, refundable if not prequalified.
