Tender Description
The Water and Power Department Gilgit-Baltistan is seeking to hire a Third-Party Validation Consulting Firm (TPV) for the review and validation of project execution activities related to the 100 MW Distributed Solar Photovoltaic (DPV) Plants at various sites in Gilgit-Baltistan. This procurement is critical for ensuring the quality and compliance of the solar power installations under the 100 MW Solarization of GB Project.

The scope involves comprehensive review and validation of the project execution activities, ensuring adherence to technical specifications, timelines, and quality standards. The project sites are distributed across Gilgit-Baltistan, requiring the consultant to have expertise in solar power projects and familiarity with regional conditions.
Eligible firms should possess relevant PEC categories for consultancy services, be registered with FBR and ATL, and demonstrate prior experience in similar solar power validation projects. The original tender was published on 19th June 2026, with a corrigendum issued on 4th July 2026. However, the process is currently put on hold until further notice by the competent authority.
