Transportation of Imported Wheat Scheme Year 2026-27 by Director General Food / Cane Commissioner Punjab

The Director General Food / Cane Commissioner Punjab invites technical and financial bids from eligible and experienced carriage contractors for the transportation of imported wheat for the scheme year 2026-27. The work involves transportation from designated ports (Qasim/Kemari or Gwader) to specified receiving centers and storage points of the department. Rates must be quoted separately per month per ton inclusive of all applicable taxes. The shifting/transportation period is 90 days. Quantities and other requirements will be dealt with according to applicable PPRA rules and department transportation policy. Items being procured: - Transportation of wheat from ports Qasim, Karachi / Gwader Port - Delivery to receiving centers/storage points including Islamabad-I, Islamabad-II, Islamabad-III, Bins RWP, Gujar Khan, Wah/Taxila, Sihala, Kahuta, Attock, Faqirabad, Hassanabdal, Gujranwala-I, Gujranwala-III, Eminabad, Kamonki, Nowshera Virkan, Mughalpura, Gullberg, PRC Raiwind, PRC Farooqabad, PRC Mananwala, PRC Khanga Dogran, PRC Safdarabad, PRC Muridke, PRC Nankana Sahib (Set-II), PRC Shahkot, PRC Panwan, PRC Kasur, PRC Pattoki, PRC Habibabad, Set-II Faisalabad, Set-III Faisalabad, Set-V Faisalabad, Set-VI Faisalabad, Jaranwala, Tandlianwala, Kanjwani, Mamukanjan, Steel Silos Multan, Jalalpur, Shujabad, PR Chichawatni, PR GhaziAbad, PR Kameer, PRC Okara, PRC Renala Khurd, PRC Akhtarabad, PRC Shergarh-II The scope includes transportation of wheat as per department routes, ensuring vehicles are roadworthy and properly equipped. The contractor is responsible for loading, unloading, and delivery at designated centers. The contractor must comply with all applicable provincial and federal taxes, duties, tolls, and levies. Payment will be based on actual quantity transported. The department reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities and assign additional vehicles if needed. Eligibility requires registration on the Punjab e-Procurement Portal (e-PADS), submission of technical and financial bids electronically by 11 am on 28-09-2026, and earnest money equivalent to 3% of the offered contract amount. Bids must comply with Punjab Public Procurement Rules, 2014 (as amended). No manual or hard copy bids will be accepted. Bidders should ensure timely registration, login, and document submission on the e-PADS portal. The technical bid will be evaluated first, and only technically qualified bidders' financial bids will be opened. The bid security must be submitted in the prescribed form and manner. The bids remain valid for 180 days from the opening date. The submission deadline is 28th September 2026 at 11:00 AM electronically through the Government of the Punjab e-Procurement Portal (e-PADS). Opening of bids will be at 11:45 AM on the same day in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives.
