Transportation/Carriage of Rock Salt Contract for Jansukh Mine No. 49 at PMDC Salt Mines, Warcha

The Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC) invites bids for the transportation and carriage of rock salt from Jansukh Mine No. 49 at PMDC Salt Mines, Warcha. This procurement is for non-consultancy services under a National Single Stage-One Envelope procedure using Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique in accordance with Public Procurement Rules, 2026. Items being procured: - Transportation of good quality rock salt (excluding boulders/lumpy size rock salt and fines locally called 'soor') from Jansukh Mine No. 49 to Main Depot/New Depot including loading and unloading, quantity 34,000 metric tons annually - Transportation of good quality rock salt from Jansukh Mine No. 49 to M/s. Olympia Chemicals (direct) including loading and unloading, quantity 1,000 metric tons annually The scope includes ensuring the quality of rock salt transported, proper loading and unloading at specified locations, and adherence to the delivery schedule over a 365-day period. Bidders must be registered on EPADS v2.0 and comply with eligibility criteria including technical competence, financial soundness, and no blacklisting. Bid security of PKR 300,000 is required in the form of Pay Order, Banker's Cheque, Call Deposit, or Demand Draft. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS v2.0 by Tuesday, October 27, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Manual submissions will not be accepted. The bid opening will be conducted on the same day at 11:30 AM on EPADS. The contract is expected to commence on November 16, 2026. Performance guarantee of 5% of contract price is required.
