Tender Description
The H.E.J. Research Institute of Chemistry at the International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences, University of Karachi, Karachi, is procuring an Ultra-High Performance Liquid Chromatography (UHPLC) system equipped with a Photodiode Array (PDA) detector. This procurement is part of the establishment of the National Reference Laboratory and aims to enhance scientific equipment capabilities at the institute.
The technical scope includes supply, installation, and commissioning of a brand new UHPLC system with a PDA detector. The system must include all essential accessories, consumables, software, and hardware for full operation. Key features include a quaternary pump with pressure up to 15,000 psi, solvent racks, column temperature control up to 80 ˚C, autosampler with programmable injection volumes, and a PDA detector with UV-Visible scanning from 190 to 800 nm. The system must be compliant or compliant-ready with 21 CFR Part 11 and come with a minimum one-year comprehensive warranty and service. Training for users at the site after installation and commissioning is mandatory.
Eligible bidders must have a complete company profile, valid registration with tax authorities, and at least three years of relevant experience. A minimum annual turnover equal to the bid amount for the last three financial years is required, along with at least two verifiable references.
