Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the upgradation of 250 schools across various districts in Balochistan, including Wahli Rawmin, Shah Nawaz Chan, and Bujerani in Jhal Magsi. The CW, PP&H Building Department Jhal Magsi is overseeing this significant educational infrastructure enhancement project aimed at elevating middle schools to high level and primary schools to middle level. The scope involves civil works such as structural improvements, masonry, plastering, and finishing to meet educational standards.
The project demands quality construction materials and skilled workmanship to ensure durability and compliance with local building codes. The sites are located in remote areas of Balochistan, which may pose logistical challenges for material delivery and workforce mobilization. Contractors must plan accordingly to address these challenges while maintaining timelines and quality.
Bidders should ensure they meet the PEC registration requirements relevant to civil works and possess a valid FBR Active Taxpayer List (ATL) status for the fiscal year 2025-26. Submission of Earnest Money in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) is mandatory. Technical and financial bids must be prepared carefully to comply with the tender conditions.
The submission deadline is extended to 23 February 2026, with bid opening scheduled the same day. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes to the Executive Engineer, CW, PP&H Building Department, Jhal Magsi. Late submissions will not be entertained.
Pro-Tip: Make sure to verify the specific stamp duty and Earnest Money requirements mentioned in the newspaper advertisement, as these are often overlooked and can lead to disqualification.
