Tender Description
Govt. M. Nawaz Sharif Teaching Hospital Yakki Gate, Lahore invites eligible vendors for walk-in registration (Fresh / Renewal) for local purchase on day-to-day basis (LPDD) of medicines, surgical disposables, medical devices, implants, and other therapeutic goods for the financial year 2026-27. This registration is for vendors registered on Punjab e-Procurement System with active Tax Payer status valid up to 30.09.2027 and possessing a Licensed Operational Pharmacy within a 10 km radius of the hospital. The supply will be made through the Online Automated Local Purchase (LPDD) System deployed by the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB). This registration also covers supplies for Hospital Zakat patients.

The technical scope includes supply of these items on a day-to-day basis through the automated system ensuring timely delivery and quality compliance. Vendors must demonstrate technical, managerial, and financial capabilities. A Performance Guarantee of Rs. 50,000/- in the form of Bank Draft, Bank Guarantee, Call Deposit Receipt (CDR), Demand Draft (DD), Pay Order (PO), or Banker's cheque is required with the technical proposal. The original Performance Guarantee must be submitted on or before the time of e-bid opening along with a soft copy uploaded on the Punjab e-Procurement System.
Interested bidders can obtain bidding documents and detailed terms from Punjab e-Procurement System (https://ep.punjab.gov.pk), PPRA website (http://ppra.punjab.gov.pk), and SHC & ME website (http://health.punjab.gov.pk/tenders.aspx) until the stipulated deadline. E-bids must be submitted online on Punjab e-Procurement System by 17.09.2026 at 10:00 AM. Bids will be opened the same day at 10:30 AM in the presence of bidders' representatives. Hard copies are not required. The procuring agency is not responsible for failures due to technical or internet errors. Corrupt or unreadable e-bids will be rejected.
Registration is open for new and existing vendors to enhance competition. Under Rule 35 of PPR 2014, the Medical Superintendent reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids without assigning reasons. The PPRA website response time is calculated from the date of advertisement publication on 19.08.2026.
A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your Performance Guarantee is prepared and submitted exactly as per the instructions before the bid opening time to avoid disqualification. Also, register early on the Punjab e-Procurement System to avoid last-minute technical issues.
