Tender Description
Gujranwala Teaching Hospital, Gujranwala invites e-BIDS through online (https://ep.punjab.gov.pk/) for the financial year 2026-27 from the bidders i.e. manufacturers/sole agents/sole importers of foreign principals/distributors having established credentials in terms of technical, financial and managerial capabilities.
Items being procured:
- Registration of vendors for purchase of medicines
- Medical devices
This procurement is for the walk-in registration of vendors for limited/petty purchase through quotation on the online ep-Punjab portal. The process is managed by Gujranwala Teaching Hospital in Gujranwala city. Purchases will be made through an open competitive bidding process following the guidelines set by the Health Department, Government of the Punjab, Lahore, and the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) Rules 2014 (amended up to date).
Interested bidders must have established credentials on ep-procurement and may submit a written application for inclusion as an LPQ vendor. Bidding documents can be downloaded from the ep-Punjab procurement portal. Bids must be submitted online via https://ep.punjab.gov.pk/ and will be opened by the Tender Opening Committee in the presence of contesting contractors or their representatives at 10:30 AM on the same day. Late bids will not be entertained.
Bidders are required to submit original bid security of Rs 50,000 in the form of Cash Deposit Receipt (CDR), Demand Draft, Pay Order, or Bank Guarantee through ep-Punjab procurement before or on the technical bid opening date. A copy of the receipt must be attached with the bid as per Rule 27 of PPRA Rules 2014. Non-submission of bid security will lead to rejection.
Company profiles including technical, engineering, managerial capabilities, after-sales services, past experience, and performance must be submitted through the ep-Punjab procurement portal.
All applicable taxes will be observed as per rules. Participants are advised to upload only one offer which they deem carries the best value for money. In case of an official holiday on the tender opening day, the next working day will be considered the tender opening day.
