Tender Description
The Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA), through the office of the Chief Engineer (Power) at Tarbela Dam, invites eligible suppliers to participate in the procurement of white metal for the turbine guide bearing of Unit No. 7 at the Power Station Tarbela. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27, with reserved funds allocated for the project. The process will be conducted on a DDP basis, and only e-bids submitted via the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS v2.0) will be accepted.

The technical scope involves the supply of high-quality white metal suitable for heavy-duty turbine guide bearings, ensuring reliable operation and longevity of the hydroelectric unit. Bidders must ensure that the supplied material meets the technical specifications outlined in the bidding documents available on the EPADS portal. Only vendors registered on the new version of EPADS v2.0 are eligible to submit bids. Manual submissions will not be entertained.
All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of PKR 150,000 in the form of CDR, pay order, bank draft, or bank guarantee in favour of Chief Engineer (Power), WAPDA, Tarbela. Insurance guarantees are not acceptable. Hard copies of the bid security must reach the office before the closing date and time. The opening of e-bids will take place at 1130 Hrs on the same day as the deadline.
