Tender Description
The Workers Welfare Board Sindh under the Government of Sindh invites applications from industrial and mines workers associated with industrial establishments across Sindh for the Hajj Scheme 2027. This initiative aims to select workers through a balloting process to perform Hajj in the year 2027.
Eligible applicants must meet the following conditions: they should be employed in establishments registered under the Factory Act 1934 or Mines Act 1932; must be permanent workers aged between 40 and 60 years; registered with SESSI/EOBI; actively working in industrial units. If applications exceed the reserved quota, selection will be made through balloting. Female workers selected may take their Mahram, but the Board will not bear or reimburse related expenses. Applicants must provide an affidavit confirming they have not performed Hajj from 2021 to 2026.
Application forms can be downloaded from the Workers Welfare Board Sindh website at www.wwbs.gos.pk or collected from regional offices. Completed forms must be submitted to the respective regional offices listed below:
- Office of Director (Welfare) WWBS, Karachi, office No.604 6th floor, Marine Faisal Building PECHS, Block-6, Shahrah-e-Faisal Karachi
- Office of Deputy Director (Welfare) WWBS, Hyderabad, Qasimabad near Ahmed Medical Complex
- Office of Deputy Director (Welfare) WWBS, Near Ahmed Ghee Mill Site area Sukkur
- Office of Deputy Director (Welfare) WWBS, Zonal Office Near Mehtab General Store, Sachal Colony Larkana
Incomplete or incorrect applications will not be entertained. Passport validity must be up to June 2028.
This scheme offers a valuable opportunity for eligible workers to fulfill their religious obligation with support from the Workers Welfare Board Sindh. Applicants should ensure all documents are complete and submitted before the deadline of **20-09-2026**. A practical tip for applicants is to carefully verify their registration status with SESSI/EOBI and ensure their passport validity to avoid disqualification.
