Tender Description
The Government Girls Degree College No.1 Charsadda is procuring a 10 KW Solar Hybrid System including supply, installation, electrification, and commissioning. This procurement is specific to Charsadda city and aims to enhance the college’s energy infrastructure with sustainable solar power solutions.
The technical scope covers the complete turnkey solution for the solar hybrid system. This includes the supply of all necessary materials, installation at the site, electrification works, and final commissioning to ensure operational readiness. The project requires firms registered with KPRA and capable of handling solar power systems of this scale.
Eligible bidders must provide attested copies of Income Tax and Sales Tax registrations. Firms should be KPRA-registered and ideally have relevant experience in solar hybrid system projects. The procurement process demands a call deposit of 2% of the bid cost as earnest money, with an additional 8% security deposit upon award of the supply order. The supply must be completed within two weeks of order issuance, with rejected items replaced within one week to avoid cancellation and forfeiture of security.
The tender submission deadline is **29th April 2026 at 12:00 PM**, with a pre-bid meeting and site visit scheduled for **23rd April 2026** to assess site requirements. Bidders should submit their tenders in the prescribed form available from the college office during office hours.
A practical tip for bidders is to attend the pre-bid meeting and site visit on 23rd April to fully understand site conditions and technical requirements. This will help in preparing a responsive and competitive bid, reducing the risk of disqualification due to non-convincing rate analysis or incomplete documentation.
