Tender Description
The Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) Ltd invites bids for the construction and route survey of a 132-KV SDT Transmission Line from Ahmad Pur East – Uch Sharif to the newly proposed 66KV to 132KV Grid Station Kot Khalifa covering a distance of 16 kilometers. This tender is specifically issued by the Project Director (GSC) MEPCO Multan and is targeted at qualified contractors capable of executing electrical transmission line works.

The technical scope includes conducting a detailed route survey and profile for the transmission line, ensuring compliance with MEPCO standards and specifications. The project duration is 35 days from the date of award. Bidders must have a valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) certificate with at least Category C-6 and specialization code CE-10. Additionally, bidders must be active taxpayers registered with the Active Taxpayer List (ATL) and provide income tax returns for the last three years. Experience criteria require completion of at least two contracts of similar nature within the last ten years, with at least 60% of the estimated cost awarded by DISCO/MEPCO/WAPDA.
The tender process follows a Single Stage - Single Envelope bidding procedure under National Competitive Bidding (NCB) as per PPRA rules. Electronic bids must be submitted via EPADS 2.0 by 13:00 hours on 17-08-2026, with bid opening at 13:30 hours the same day in the office of the Project Director (GSC) MEPCO, Khanewal Road, Multan. Manual bids will not be accepted. Earnest money of PKR 25,000 is required in the form of Deposit-at-Call/CDR/Bank Draft/Pay Order valid for 180 days after the opening date.
