Tender Description
The Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) through its Project Management Unit (PMU) invites bids for the procurement of high voltage metering equipment in Multan, Punjab. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and aims to enhance the metering infrastructure at 132KV level to ensure accurate measurement and monitoring of electrical parameters.
Items being procured:
- 132KV Metering CT with SSS 1200/600/1Amp class 0.2s (Quantity: 10)
- 132KV Metering PT (0.2 Class) (Quantity: 15)
The technical scope includes supply of current transformers (CT) and potential transformers (PT) conforming to NTDC specifications P-205:2020 and P-206:2021 respectively, with the highest accuracy class 0.2s. These transformers will be delivered to the 132KV MEPCO Warehouse located on Khanewal Road, Multan. The delivery schedule is within 120 days from the contract award.
Eligibility criteria require bidders to have valid FBR registration, PEC category compliance, and proven experience with at least two contracts of similar or higher rating in the last ten years. The manufacturer must have a minimum of five years design and manufacturing experience with similar equipment. Bidders must submit valid type test reports and manufacturer authorization. Joint ventures are allowed with up to two members.
The bid submission deadline is Tuesday, August 18, 2026 at 10:30 AM via the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0. Manual submissions will not be accepted. The technical bid must be accompanied by a bid security as per the bidding documents. Bids will be opened on the same day at 11:00 AM on EPADS.
