Tender Description
The Aror University of Art, Architecture, Design & Heritage Sindh located in Sukkur is procuring the supply and installation of advanced 3D ceramic printing laboratory equipment. This procurement is specifically for a Delta type ceramic/clay 3D printer based on Liquid Deposition Modeling (LDM) technology, suitable for printing with ceramic paste, clay, porcelain, and similar materials. The scope includes complete installation, training, commissioning, and a standard warranty. The equipment list includes the 3D printer, LDM extruder, aluminum clay tank, nozzle sets, clay material, software license, wooden print bed, power cable, material hopper dryer machine, feed tubes, and stands or bases. Eligible bidders must be original manufacturers or authorized distributors registered with Income Tax and Sales Tax departments and have relevant experience. The tender requires submission of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 3,000 and a fixed bid security of 3% of the tender value (PKR 90,000) in the form of pay order, bank draft, CDR, or bank guarantee. Electronic bids must be submitted through EPADS by 01:00 PM on June 09, 2026, and manual bids will not be accepted. The bids will be opened on the same day at 01:30 PM in the conference room of the university. The procurement follows the Sindh Public Procurement Rules 2010 and World Bank standards. Bidders should ensure all bidding documents are signed, stamped, and complete. The technical bid will be evaluated on criteria including registration, bid security, company profile, experience, staff strength, and financial strength. Only technically qualified bidders will have their financial bids opened. A practical tip for bidders is to carefully review all pages of the bidding documents and ensure no overwriting or cutting in rates or specifications, as such errors may lead to rejection. Also, timely submission through EPADS is critical to avoid disqualification. The contract includes a 12-month warranty with free parts and labor, and the supplier is responsible for installation, demonstration, and after-sales service. The delivery and installation must be completed within 30 days after signing the contract at the university premises in Sukkur. This tender offers a significant opportunity for suppliers specializing in industrial 3D printing equipment to engage with a reputable academic institution in Sindh.
