Configuration, Testing, Commissioning and Integration of ABB Industrial Communication Gateway System/RTU at Khan Khwar Power Station

The Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) invites eligible bidders to participate in the procurement for configuration, testing, commissioning, and integration of ABB make Industrial Communication Gateway System/RTU with the existing Distributed Control System (DCS) at Khan Khwar Hydel Power Station located in Besham, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. This project is part of the SCADA-III initiative under the FCS basis. Items being procured: - Configuration of ABB Industrial Communication Gateway System/RTU - Testing and Commissioning of the system - Integration with existing DCS for signal data transmission The scope involves technical expertise in industrial communication systems, integration with existing control infrastructure, and ensuring seamless data transmission for operational efficiency. The work is to be completed within 120 days from the contract award. Bidders must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and possess relevant PEC categories for electrical or instrumentation works. Experience in similar SCADA or industrial communication projects will be advantageous. Earnest Money in the form of Bid Security amounting to Rs. 270,000/- must be submitted as a bank draft, CDR, or pay order in original from any scheduled bank of Pakistan in favor of the specified account before the closing date. The tender documents are available on the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) at https://vendors.epads.gov.pk/. Electronic bids must be submitted via EPADS V2.0 by 10:30 AM on 24th July 2026. Manual bids will not be accepted. Bid opening will occur at 11:00 AM on the same day in the conference room of Khan Khwar Power House.
