Tender Description
The Quetta Development Authority is undertaking the acquisition of land for the construction of a link road connecting Zarghoon Housing Scheme to the Bypass in Quetta. This project involves acquiring a total land area of 92,990 square feet located in Mahal Khushkaba Sarakhula, Mouza Sarakhula, Tappa Durrani-II, Tehsil Saddar Quetta. The land acquisition is essential for the development of this important infrastructure to improve connectivity and traffic flow in Quetta city.
The land parcels are detailed with specific Khasra numbers and ownership, covering multiple plots with areas ranging from 250 to 56,755 square feet. This acquisition is being conducted under Section 4 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894, and the Deputy Commissioner/Collector Quetta is authorized to carry out necessary surveys and related activities on the land.
Eligible bidders or interested parties should note that objections to the acquisition must be filed in writing within thirty days of the publication of this notification. While this is a land acquisition notice rather than a conventional tender for construction or supply, it is crucial for contractors and suppliers involved in civil works and infrastructure projects to monitor such developments closely.
The submission deadline for any objections or related correspondence is thirty days from the notice date, with submissions directed to the Deputy Commissioner/Collector office in Quetta. It is advisable for interested parties to maintain updated registration with relevant authorities such as FBR and PEC if engaging in subsequent construction contracts related to this project.
A practical tip for bidders and stakeholders is to ensure thorough due diligence on land titles and ownership details before engaging in any agreements or contracts. This will help avoid legal complications and ensure smooth project execution once the land acquisition process is complete.
