Addition of 01 No. 500/220KV 450MVA Auto Transformer Bank at 500KV Grid Station Dadu

The National Grid Company of Pakistan Limited (NGC) invites bids for the addition of one 500/220KV 450MVA Auto Transformer Bank at the 500KV Grid Station Dadu. This procurement is managed by the Project Director (EHV-II) NGC based in Multan, Punjab. The scope of work involves the installation and commissioning of a high-capacity auto transformer bank to enhance the grid station's power handling capabilities. Items being procured: - 01 No. 500/220KV 450MVA Auto Transformer Bank at 500KV Grid Station Dadu The technical scope includes the supply, installation, and commissioning of the transformer bank at the specified grid station. The project requires firms licensed by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the appropriate category for electrical works. Bidders must comply with PEC Single Stage Two Envelope (SSTE) procedures and be registered with FBR/ATL. Experience in similar high voltage electrical installations is essential. Bidding documents can be purchased from the office of Project Director (EHV-II) NGC, located at Bungalow # 86, Block-L, Shah-Rukn-e-Alam Colony, Multan, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of PKR 5,000. All bids must be submitted electronically via the E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (E-PADS) by 12-08-2026 at 11:00 a.m. The bids will be opened on the same day at 11:30 a.m. in the presence of bidders. A refundable bid security of not less than PKR 8,500,000 must be submitted in the form of a CDR or bank guarantee from a scheduled bank in Pakistan, valid for 28 days beyond the bid validity date. Original bid security must be submitted to the Project Director's office before the bid submission deadline.
