Tender Description
The **W&S College Education Works Division Karachi** is procuring works for the addition, rehabilitation, and missing facilities of the existing colleges in the Karachi region, specifically targeting the HRH Agha Khan Government Girls Arts and Commerce Degree College located in PIB Colony, Karachi. This project is part of the 2025-26 ADP Programme under SDG#4 and is funded by the Provincial Government through the College Education Department Administration.
The technical scope includes extensive civil works such as dismantling cement concrete, glazed tiles, cement block masonry, scraping and removing old paint, removing doors and windows with chowkats, excavation, reinforced cement concrete works, fabrication and erection of steel reinforcement, cement plastering, flooring with porcelain tiles and marble, fixing aluminum frames and grills, waterproofing, and installation of sanitary fittings and water supply systems. The contract also covers the supply and installation of a mono block water pumping set and other related works as detailed in the Bill of Quantities.
Eligibility criteria require bidders to be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant category, possess valid NTN and SRB certificates, ISO certifications, and demonstrate a minimum of five years of experience in similar works. Financial soundness is assessed through audited financial statements and tax returns for the last five years. Technical capability is evaluated based on professional experience, personnel qualifications, and equipment availability. Bidders must submit a bid security of Rs. 710,000 and comply with the integrity pact requirements.
Key dates include the bid submission deadline on **28th April 2026 at 11:00 AM** at the office located at 95 Depot Lines behind Coast Guard Headquarters, Karachi. The bid opening will follow at 12:00 PM the same day. The contract duration is 24 months from the written order to commence. Performance security equal to 5% of the bid amount is required within 14 days of the Letter of Acceptance.
