Tender Description
Pakistan State Oil Company Limited (PSO) Karachi is procuring additional licenses for its Radar Tank Gauges Centralized Solution to enhance monitoring capabilities for storage tanks. This procurement covers software licenses, communication modules, and custody transfer calculation software to integrate and expand the existing Endress + Hauser Tankvision Professional system. The project includes configuration, integration, and commissioning of hardware and software at PSO House and multiple terminal locations including Daulatpur, Tarujabba, Habibabad, and KTB terminals.
The scope involves increasing licenses from 100 to 250 to support 150 additional tanks, integration of third-party ATG equipment from vendors like Emerson, Honeywell, and Rosemount, and ensuring remote accessibility and real-time data communication via TCP/IP and Modbus protocols. The system will provide comprehensive tank data including product level, volume, temperature, density, and alarm status with reporting capabilities in PDF and TXT formats. Installation, testing, commissioning, and warranty services are included.
Eligible bidders should have relevant experience with the quoted brands and provide technical brochures, proof of genuine licenses, and a list of qualified engineers. Compliance with PSO's terms including warranty, onsite support, and timely deployment is mandatory. The contract includes a one-year comprehensive OEM warranty with onsite replacement and support.
The tender was published on 13th May 2026 and bids must be submitted by 8th June 2026 at 2:15 PM. Interested suppliers should ensure their bids include all required documents and comply with PSO's specifications. A practical tip for bidders is to carefully prepare the technical bid with detailed compliance sheets and ensure timely submission to avoid disqualification. Early coordination with PSO's nominated officials for guidelines is recommended to streamline installation and commissioning phases.
