Tender Description
The Deputy Conservator Forest Quetta City invites sealed tenders from eligible bidders for execution of agro-forestry and urban forestry works in Quetta, Balochistan. The procurement covers three main components: first year land preparation including planting and sowing under agro-forestry; urban forestry development; and nursery infrastructure establishment and maintenance. The combined estimated cost for these works is approximately **PKR 19,750,000**.
The technical scope involves comprehensive land preparation, sowing, planting activities, and maintenance of nursery infrastructure to support forestry development in the region. The works are to be carried out on a composite schedule under the Government of Balochistan. Bidders must ensure compliance with all technical specifications and quality standards as outlined in the bidding documents.
Eligibility criteria require firms to have valid registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in Category C-6 or above, renewed through the 2025-26 financial year, with the relevant specialized code. Additionally, valid registration with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and inclusion on the Active Taxpayer List (ATL) are mandatory. Other mandatory conditions and detailed marking criteria are specified in the bidding documents.
Bidding documents can be obtained from the office of the Deputy Conservator Forest Quetta City upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 1800 deposited via Green Challan Form in the National Bank of Pakistan under head C-03370. The documents are also downloadable from www.bppra.org.pk. Completed bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes by hand or registered mail to the Deputy Conservator Forest Quetta City office by **14 May 2026 at 10:00 AM**. The bids will be opened the same day at 11:00 AM in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure the Green Challan Form is deposited in the government treasury at least one day prior to bid submission to avoid disqualification. Timely submission with all required supporting documents and earnest money in the form of call deposit is crucial for successful participation in this tender.
