Tender Description
The Pakistan Security Printing Corporation (Pvt.) Limited, based in Karachi, Sindh, is inviting bids for the annual contract for disposal of nine different types of waste materials. This procurement is specifically for the removal and disposal of waste items lying in the PSPC's salvage yard located at Jinnah Avenue, Malir Halt, Karachi. The waste materials include briquettes, waste offcuts of various colors and qualities, wrapping paper, empty ink tins (large and small), plastic polythene pieces, waste roti, and roller coating offcuts. The contract requires bidders to lift all types of waste materials as per the quantities and specifications provided in the tender documents.
The technical scope involves careful inspection and lifting of waste materials from the salvage yard during the contract period. Bidders must ensure they have the necessary tools and gadgets for lifting and must arrange visits to the site for inspection before submitting their bids. The contract stipulates lifting on usual working days with specified timings and includes penalties for failure to take delivery on time. A 5% performance guarantee of the total contract amount is required, and earnest money in the form of a pay order or demand draft must be submitted. The bid security must be submitted both electronically and in original form before the deadline.
Eligible bidders should be registered with FBR and have relevant experience in handling such contracts. The tender documents must be signed and stamped, and all prices should be exclusive of taxes. The bid must be valid for at least 60 days from the tender opening date. The technical and financial bids will be submitted electronically via the EPADS system, and manual bids will not be accepted.
The tender opening is scheduled for June 17, 2026, at 11:30 a.m., with bid submission closing at 11:00 a.m. on the same day. Bidders are advised to ensure timely submission of all required documents, including the bid security, to avoid rejection. One practical tip for bidders is to thoroughly inspect the waste materials at the salvage yard and confirm all details before submitting the bid, as the contract requires lifting all awarded materials without exception. This will help avoid any disputes or penalties during contract execution.
