The procurement involves supply of certified seeds as per the specifications laid down by the department. The seeds must meet quality standards and be suitable for the agro-climatic conditions of Punjab. The tender requires submission of earnest money in the form of CDR as per the specified amounts for each district. The technical bid will be evaluated on compliance with quality and delivery timelines.
Eligible bidders must be registered with FBR and have a valid ATL certificate. PEC registration is not applicable for seed procurement but experience in supplying agricultural inputs to government departments will be an advantage. The tender documents specify that bids must be submitted by the deadlines indicated for each district, with the final closing date being 27th July 2026 at 11:59 PM.
A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your CDR is valid and matches the earnest money requirements exactly for the district you are bidding in. Late or incomplete submissions will be rejected. Also, carefully check the bid opening schedule to avoid missing your slot.
This tender offers a significant opportunity for seed suppliers to engage with the Punjab Agriculture Department and contribute to the agricultural productivity of the province. Interested parties should prepare their bids in accordance with the detailed instructions and submit them on time to the designated office in Lahore.
