Tender Description
The Gujranwala Electric Power Company Limited (GEPCO) is procuring Arc Flash Suit Kits designed for human safety at its warehouse in Gujranwala. This procurement is part of the PMU GEPCO 2025-26 fund allocation. The tender calls for supply of specialized safety equipment including Arc Flash Suits (12kV), complete kits with hood, bib, jacket, gloves, cooling vest, and shoes. The materials must meet international standards such as ASTM F1506, NFPA 70E, IEC 61482, and EN standards, ensuring high safety and durability. The suits are categorized as Category IV fabric with flame-resistant properties and must be tested by recognized laboratories from Spain, USA, Russia, or Canada.
Eligible bidders must be registered firms with DISCOs, NTDC, WAPDA, GENCOS, or PPMC as authorized dealers, manufacturers, or suppliers. They should have valid FBR registration and be capable of providing a Bid Security as per the bidding document. The procurement follows the Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) method under Public Procurement Rules 2004. Bidders must submit their bids electronically via the EPADS v2.0 system by 11:00 AM on June 8, 2026. The bid validity period is 150 days, and the bid guarantee must remain valid for 28 days beyond the bid validity.
The tender emphasizes the importance of submitting a complete technical bid including all required declarations and bid security. Bidders are advised to regularly check the EPADS website for clarifications and updates. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure their bids are uploaded correctly on EPADS with all required documents to avoid rejection for incomplete submissions. This tender offers a valuable opportunity for suppliers specializing in electrical safety equipment to engage with a major power distribution company in Punjab.
