Tender Description
The Municipal Committee Kunjah invites bids for arrangements related to the celebrations of Independence Day on 14th August 2026 and Eid Milad-un-Nabi on 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal 1448 AH. This procurement is scheduled for execution during the Financial Year 2026-27 and will be conducted through the Punjab PPRA e-Procurement System (E-Procurement).
Items being procured:
- Arrangements for Independence Day celebrations
- Arrangements for Eid Milad-un-Nabi celebrations
The scope includes all necessary civil works and related services to ensure successful event management under the jurisdiction of Municipal Committee Kunjah. The technical scope requires compliance with local standards and timely execution as per the work order. Eligible bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant category and codes for the Financial Year 2026-27. Additionally, all bidders must be registered on the Punjab PPRA e-Procurement Portal. Earnest Money in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) amounting to 5% of the estimated cost must be submitted both online and physically at the Tender Opening Committee office at least 30 minutes before bid opening.
The tender opening will be held electronically on 12-08-2026 at 11:00 AM in the office of Municipal Committee Kunjah. Bidders are advised to carefully follow the submission guidelines and ensure all documents are genuine to avoid disqualification. The original CDR submission is critical to avoid bid rejection.
A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your PEC registration and PPRA portal registration are up to date before bidding. Also, submit the original CDR timely to avoid non-responsiveness. Early preparation of technical and financial bids will help meet the strict deadlines and increase chances of success.
