Tender Description
NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights.
District Council Khanewal invites sealed bids for the annual lease rights of agricultural land and cattle fair contracts for the financial year 2026-2027. The auction will be held at the office of the Chief Officer, District Council Khanewal. Interested parties are encouraged to participate in this open auction process, which is being conducted in accordance with the relevant rules and regulations. The successful bidders will be granted the right to manage and collect revenue from the specified properties for the stated period.
Items being auctioned:
- Lease rights for agricultural land (Zarai Raqba) comprising 183 kanals, located at 16 Muraba, Mouza Chak No. 183/16, Khanewal. Reserve price: 80235 PKR for 2026 (Kharif season) and 80235 PKR for 2027 (Rabi season), with an additional 10% increase for the next 4 years.
- Lease rights for cattle fair (Gow Mandi), Khanewal. Reserve price: 181190 PKR for 2026 (Kharif season) and 1811900 PKR for 2027 (Rabi season), with an additional 10% increase for the next 4 years.
The technical scope includes the management and operation of the leased agricultural land and cattle fair, ensuring compliance with all local regulations and maximizing revenue collection. Bidders must be registered with FBR and possess a valid NTN. Earnest money equivalent to 10% of the reserve price must be deposited via pay order or CDR at the time of bidding. The auction will be conducted in the presence of the committee, and the highest bid will be considered for approval.
The deadline for participation is 15 August 2026 at 11:00 AM at the District Council Khanewal office. Bidders are advised to arrive early and bring all required documents, including proof of registration and earnest money.
