Tender Description
NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights.
Khawaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology Rahim Yar Khan is inviting sealed bids for the auction of lease rights for various canteens (including boys canteens and girls canteens) for the financial year 2026-2027. The auction will be conducted at the university premises as per the schedule below. Interested parties are required to submit earnest money of Rs. 200000 in the form of CDR/Pay Order in favor of Treasurer KFUEIT before the auction date.
Items being auctioned:
- Boys Canteen No. 1 (Reserve Price: Rs. 5970000)
- Boys Canteen No. 2 (Reserve Price: Rs. 3195000)
- Boys Canteen No. 3 (Reserve Price: Rs. 1950000)
- Girls Canteen No. 1 (Reserve Price: Rs. 1950000)
- Girls Canteen No. 2 (Reserve Price: Rs. 1950000)
Each canteen will be auctioned separately at the specified date and time as mentioned in the notice. The successful bidder will be required to comply with all university rules and regulations regarding hygiene, quality, and pricing. The lease period will be for one year, and the highest bid above the reserve price will be considered for award.
Eligibility criteria include submission of earnest money, valid CNIC, and compliance with the terms and conditions set by the university. Bidders must be present in person at the time of auction. The auction will be conducted through the Single Stage One Envelope procedure as per PPRA rules.
The deadline for submission of earnest money and participation is 16-09-2024. The auction will be held at the university campus as per the schedule. For best results, bidders should visit the canteen sites in advance to assess the facilities and estimate potential business volume before bidding.
