Tender Description
NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights.
Market Committee Chitral is inviting sealed bids for the lease rights of various cattle market sites for the financial year 2026-27. The auction will be held at the office of the undersigned on 28 August 2026, starting at 11:00 AM. Interested parties are encouraged to participate in this open auction for the following sites:
- Cattle Market Chitral (Reserve Price: Rs. 2,500,000, Earnest Money: Rs. 250,000, Auction Date/Time: 28-08-2026, 11:00 AM)
- Cattle Market Drosh (Reserve Price: Rs. 550,000, Earnest Money: Rs. 55,000, Auction Date/Time: 28-08-2026, 12:00 PM)
- Cattle Market Ayun (Reserve Price: Rs. 500,000, Earnest Money: Rs. 50,000, Auction Date/Time: 28-08-2026, 12:30 PM)
- Cattle Market Garam Chashma (Reserve Price: Rs. 310,000, Earnest Money: Rs. 31,000, Auction Date/Time: 28-08-2026, 1:30 PM)
- Cattle Market Booni (Reserve Price: Rs. 650,000, Earnest Money: Rs. 65,000, Auction Date/Time: 28-08-2026, 2:00 PM)
Each site is being offered for lease for one year, from 1 September 2026 to 30 June 2027. The successful bidder will be required to deposit 10 percent of the reserve price as earnest money in the form of a call deposit receipt (CDR) in the name of the Market Committee Chitral. The remaining amount must be paid as per the terms and conditions outlined in the auction notice. Bidders must bring their original CNIC and proof of earnest money deposit to participate. The committee reserves the right to reject any or all bids without assigning any reason.
For bidders, it is advisable to inspect the market sites in advance and clarify any queries regarding the terms and conditions before the auction date. This will help in preparing a competitive bid and ensuring compliance with all requirements. Remember to submit your CDR and documents well before the deadline to avoid last-minute issues.
