AUCTION: Contract for Auction Collection Rights of New Fruit Market Multan

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. Market Committee Multan invites interested parties to participate in the open auction for the contract of auction collection rights at the New Fruit Market Multan. The auction will be held at the office of the Market Committee Multan on Thursday, 03 September 2026 at 03:00 PM. This contract covers the collection rights for the auction of fruits and vegetables at the new market for the period from 15 September 2026 to 30 June 2027. Items being auctioned: - Contract for auction collection rights of fruits and vegetables at New Fruit Market Multan (Reserve price: Rs. 7,000,000 for the contract period) The successful bidder will be responsible for collecting auction fees from the sale of fruits and vegetables in the market as per the terms and conditions set by the Market Committee. The contract will be awarded to the highest bidder, provided all requirements are fulfilled. Interested parties must deposit earnest money of Rs. 700,000 in the form of a pay order or bank draft in favor of the Market Committee Multan before participating in the auction. The successful bidder must submit post-dated cheques for the remaining amount and comply with all legal and administrative requirements. Eligibility criteria include submission of valid CNIC, proof of financial capacity, and no previous default or dishonor of cheques with the Market Committee. The auction will be conducted in the presence of the committee, and the decision of the committee will be final. In case of any dispute, the committee reserves the right to cancel or re-auction the contract. The last date for submission of earnest money and participation documents is the auction date itself. A practical tip: Arrive early on auction day to complete all registration and verification steps, as latecomers may not be allowed to participate. Ensure all pay orders and documents are prepared in advance to avoid last-minute issues.
