AUCTION: Commercial Plots in Hawksbay Scheme-42 Karachi by Lyari Development Authority

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. Lyari Development Authority (LDA) invites investors and the general public to participate in the open auction of prime commercial plots located in Hawksbay Scheme-42, Karachi. This is a valuable opportunity to invest in leased and mutated commercial plots offered by the Lyari Development Authority. Items being auctioned: - Block-3 Commercial Area: SB category plots numbered 1,2,9,10,11,18,19 (7 plots, 400 SQ YD each, starting bid PKR 38,250 per SQ YD) - Block-3 Commercial Area: SC category plots numbered 1,2,10,11,12 (5 plots, 600 SQ YD each, starting bid PKR 38,250 per SQ YD) - Block-11-A Commercial Area: SC category plots numbered 7,8,9,10,11,12 (6 plots, 600 SQ YD each, starting bid PKR 38,250 per SQ YD) - Block-11-B Commercial Area: SC category plots numbered 1,2,8,9,13,14,15,25,26,27,29,30 (12 plots, 600 SQ YD each, starting bid PKR 38,250 per SQ YD) - Block-12-C Commercial Area: ST category plot number 1 (1 plot, 1600 SQ YD, starting bid PKR 38,250 per SQ YD) - Block-11-C Commercial Area (SC): SC category plots numbered 1,2,3,4,5 (5 plots, 600 SQ YD each, starting bid PKR 38,250 per SQ YD) The auction will be held at the Sales Centre, Block-16, Hawksbay Scheme-42, Karachi on 10th September 2026 at 12:00 PM. Interested bidders must obtain the bid form from the Land Department, LDA, 4th Floor, Civic Centre, Gulshan-e-Iqbal Karachi or download it via the provided QR code. A non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 25,000 in the form of Pay Order/Demand Draft in favor of Lyari Development Authority is required. A security deposit of Rs. 200,000 (Two Lacs) is also required refundable to unsuccessful bidders. The successful bidder must pay 25% of the bid amount within 24 hours of bid acceptance, failing which the security deposit will be forfeited. The remaining 75% must be paid within 90 days, with an option to pay in three installments of 25% each plus applicable taxes. Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) withholding tax will be deducted as per rules. LDA reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids without assigning reasons. Possession will be handed over after full payment of cost/occupancy value and other applicable charges.
