AUCTION: Condemned Machinery and Equipment Auction by Transport Department Islamabad

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. The Transport Department Islamabad is conducting an open auction of condemned machinery and equipment. The auction includes items such as dumper, water chiller, short concrete pump, bi-directional hauler, hydraulic breaker, loader, water bowser (as scrap), air compressor, generator, road grader, concrete hauler, wheel jumbo machine, road header, and other related machinery. The auction will be conducted on an "as is/where is" basis according to the tabulated schedule. Items being auctioned: - Dumper - Water chiller - Short concrete pump - Bi-directional hauler - Hydraulic breaker - Loader - Water bowser (as scrap) - Air compressor - Generator - Road grader - Concrete hauler - Wheel jumbo machine - Road header The auction will take place at three venues with corresponding inspection dates: 1. Cricket Ground (UDECO) Near Tanaza Dam Tehsil Fateh Jang District Attock Inspection: 16-17 Nov 2026 Auction: 18 Nov 2026 2. Transit Store, MDCP, adjacent to 132 KV Grid Station, Sakhi Sarwar Road, Dera Ghazi Khan Inspection: 23-24 Nov 2026 Auction: 25 Nov 2026 3. Staff Base Camp Vicinity VMC, Thana Arab Khan Tehsil Bulla Khan District, Jamshoro (Sindh) Inspection: 30 Nov - 01 Dec 2026 Auction: 02 Dec 2026 Interested parties may visit and inspect the machinery at specified locations from 09:00 AM to 02:00 PM on given inspection dates. Auction time is 10:00 AM. Eligibility requires bidders to bring original CNIC (NADRA) along with three photocopies. Entry to the auction venue requires payment of Rs. 10,000 (refundable). Successful bidders must pay 25% of the accepted bid price in cash on the spot and an additional 10% as earnest money. Valid entry tokens are mandatory. The remaining 65% and applicable government taxes must be paid within seven days after approval, failing which the advance payment will be forfeited. Income tax and GST will be deducted as per FBR rules before possession. If the auction department is closed on the auction day, the auction will be held the next working day at the same venue and time. The department reserves the right to accept or reject any bid without citing any reason. Bidders are advised to carefully inspect the machinery during the inspection period and ensure compliance with all terms to avoid disqualification.
