AUCTION: Demolition and Disposal of BER Buildings and Unserviceable Stores at MES Sialkot

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. The Military Engineer Services (Army) Sialkot is conducting a public auction for the demolition and disposal of BER (Beyond Economic Repair) and dangerous declared buildings, old demolition material, and unserviceable stores. The auction will be held on an 'As Is Where Is' basis at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, 10 November 2026, at the MES Facilitation Center (GE-I complaint office) in Sialkot. Items being auctioned include: - BER (Beyond Economic Repair) / Dangerous declared buildings - Old demolition material - Unserviceable (U/S) building material - Unserviceable stores Prospective bidders may inspect the BER buildings and unserviceable stores on 9 November 2026 in the presence of the Auctioneer and Focal Person (Sub Divisional Officer B&R, Contact # 0316-6505141) prior to the auction. Each intending bidder must deposit earnest money amounting to Rs. 1,000,000/- via Pay Order drawn in favor of Garrison Engineer (Army)-1, Sialkot Cantt, before the auction commencement. Only bidders who have deposited the earnest money are eligible to participate. The auction will be conducted openly with clear and accurate recording of each bid. The bid amount excludes all government taxes, duties, levies, and other applicable charges, which the successful bidder must pay. Labor restrictions prohibit Afghan refugees or labor from tribal areas of KPK for demolition work. The successful bidder must submit labor documentation including CNIC copies, Police Verification, and Character Certificates verified by the competent Police Authority. Unverified labor will not be permitted on site. Demolition work must be completed fully, including removal of all foundations and subsurface structural elements, according to prescribed requirements and satisfaction of the competent authority. Bidders must demolish buildings or collect demolition materials within the specified time; no claims will be accepted thereafter. Additional terms and conditions will be announced at the time of auction and will be binding on the successful bidder. Bidders must bring a photocopy of their CNIC to participate. The CMES reserves the right to withdraw any lot or cancel the auction at any stage without assigning reasons. No claims for compensation or damages will be entertained. This auction offers a valuable opportunity for contractors experienced in demolition and disposal work. Ensure earnest money is deposited timely and labor documentation is complete to avoid disqualification.
